Since the beginning of Fanuc, in 1956, when Dr. Seiuemon Inaba, founder of the company, presented his pioneering concept of numerical control (NC), FANUC occupies the forefront of an authentic world revolution in manufacturing processes. Dr. Inaba initiated this transformative breakthrough when he invented the first electric pulse motor, programmed a numerical control for it and included it in a machine tool.
